Rain vs. Color

I love how my red TOMS stand out against the gray weather and my neutral outfit. For my birthday, I got a bright yellow raincoat by The North Face which is a perfect contrast to Washington's often rainy weather. 

Pretty in Pink

Chelsea and I took these pictures at sunset and I am in love with how the tone turned out. They have the perfect pink tinge! This necklace is my favorite vintage find. It goes with everything in my closet and is the perfect go-to accessory. I hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday!

This is outfit 11 out of 30. I love this skirt because of the pockets. If I see a cute skirt or dress in the store then discover it has pockets, it's a done deal. I have to buy it.

On Friday when I was picking out my clothes for the day, I thought, I don't want to wear a gray dress on such a nice day. How can I make it more colorful? Aha! I'll put my flowery skirt underneath it! Perfect! I bought this scarf to wear as a headband and loved how it turned out.

Summer

Schools over for the summer! It's funny, because it still hasn't sunk in. It seems like it's just the weekend. I always feel like a J.Crew model whenever I wear these pants. Cuffing them makes them seem more summery, especially paired with these floral print sandals!

Coral and Turquoise

Hot, hot, hot! Today it was around 75 degrees! I know you people in 90 and 100 degree weather are rolling your eyes but after nothing but rain and 40 to 50 degree weather all spiring, 75 is pretty warm! 

I love the bright colors in this necklace! The turquoise and coral work so well together and there are a bunch of cool chains and beads on it. Whenever I have this necklace on I always find myself playing with it.  

Sunny Day

I'm now on my second week of the challenge! After a whole weekend of rainy days, I'm so happy it's nice today! Tomorrow is the last day of school but I have to go back on Wednesday for the 8th grade moving up ceremony. I'm so excited for summer! 

This is one of my favorite new tops! It was on clearance at Nordstrom for $13 and I had to buy it. I've worked it into so many outfits and can't wait to show all of you!  

Frolicking in the Fields

I'm officially 1/6th through the challenge! Those five outfits went by quickly. Today I got creative and wore my dress as a skirt. I've done this once before on this blog here. More bang for your buck! I'm just going to be posting on the weekdays this time around so my next post will be on Monday.

This is my favorite bag I own! I got it for Christmas and haven't changed purses since. The cognac color goes with everything. I'm a big fan of cross body bags! They are so easy to carry around and it's nice to keep your hands free while shopping or walking around.
