Stand Out

 
I got this coat from Nectar Clothing about a month ago after drooling over it for a few weeks. I haven't had a chance to use it since, but now that the winter weather is finally here, I'll be able to make up for lost wearing time. I've noticed I have a thing for vivid coats. I got a bright yellow North Face for my last birthday. It makes the frequent grey, rainy days less gloomy and this coat brings a fun, burst of color to the white snow.

Let it Snow

 

I love the feeling when you wake up, your rooms brighter than usual, you think back to the forecast of potential snow, then after running to the window, there's a winter wonderland waiting just outside. Washington has just had it's first snowfall of winter!
As for my outfit, this dress is a thrift find of last summer. The unique hem, the buttons running down the front, and the gorgeous print was what made me fall for this dress.
