I think these shoes are enchanted. I've had them for well over a year and I still get compliments on them everyday that I wear them. I think just the idea of having ballet shoes incorporated into an every day outfit is too much to handle. Every time I'm picking my shoes for the day they put a spell on me to put them on my feet.

I got my hair cut! I've been growing it out for such a long time this is a huge change for me! I've wanted to try out a new look for about two years but kept talking myself out of it. However, I finally did it and love how it turned out! 

It's been so incredibly rainy and windy these past few days, hence the hair in my face in all these pictures, I'm already looking forward to summer! In Washington it's 40-50 degrees and raining all year round at least there's a bit more sun in the summertime!

The other day I realized I don't own a pair of black jeans. Everyday since then while getting dressed I find myself wanting nothing more than a pair of simple, black skinny jeans... This has lead me to thinking about how effortlessly chic the color black is. In short, I need more of this color in my life.

Happy New Year everyone! This week I've been cleaning out my wardrobe getting rid of things I've held onto for way to long! You know when you pick something up, realize that you haven't worn it in a year, but put it back in your drawer "just in case"? Well, I've finally gotten rid of those pieces!

I had a lovely end to 2013. The day before New Years Eve was spent in Seattle exploring Ballard's vintage shops, a record store and a cupcake shop with my friends Kirsten and Caroline! I've had such an incredible year and I am so looking forward to seeing what this year brings! Thank you all for following along with this blog! I appreciate your support so much!
