Princess Charming

Pretty, pretty, pretty is all I can think of when looking at these photos I took of my friend Brooke a couple weeks ago. Every bit of her house is full of charm and character and peonies are basically the prettiest flower there is. Also, Brooke is kind of the most beautiful person ever.

I'm also playing around with some footage from that day so there may be a video within the next few weeks!

Summer Essentials

Summer! Glorious, wonderful, beautiful... I'm loving every minute of it. This outfit is a combination of all my essentials this season.

1. A sweater for Washington's not so hot weather and cool nights.
2. Cut-off shorts, purchased from Goodwill and cut and distressed to perfection.
3. Minimalist sandals that are both comfortable and chic.

Also, this Love, Blair inspired hairstyle is all I've been wearing for weeks!

Age is But a Number

This weekend I turned eighteen. It's definitely bittersweet for me as I feel I've been kicked out of the club that is childhood but I'm excited for what the future brings as an "adult". They say "age is but a number" but eighteen is made out to be quite the deal. My sister Chelsea flew over from Minneapolis this weekend and we spent all of Friday walking, shopping, eating, talking, drinking coffee, and taking pictures in Seattle. Aka, thee best city in the world. She surprised me with my first trip to the top of the Space Needle once the clouds cleared and there was Seattle in all it's glory! I'm finding I truly am a city girl. 

All Good Things

During spring break I spent a day with my friend Abbi listening to records, snuggling with her cats, and creating a Joni Mitchell shrine. So basically all our favorite things put together into one perfect day. Enjoy the photos!

Real Simple

I have now trained my nine-year-old brother for taking my outfit photos! He did an amazing job didn't he? I figured it'd be easiest to set my camera to continuous shooting (which he calls machine gun mode) so I'd have enough to choose from!

I've been keeping my outfits real simple lately with a few details here and there. I'm in love with the little gold details of this outfit with the dainty midi rings and the corners of my bag. Right now I'm feeling like simplicity is the best policy.
