Details

Old Navy top, Crossroads skirt, Target shoes, H&M sunglasses via Chelsea
I put these clothes on and was instantly going through my jewelry collection and my scarves trying to find another something to finish off my outfit. After running the possibilities through my head for approximately the fourth time, I started reaching for yet another dress. I took one last look in the mirror and decided I would just go for the simple look. On my way to the bus I was a little disappointed with my ensemble but as the day went on and I collected more and more compliments I decided to check it off as a success!

There are enough details in each piece of clothing to have them stand on their own I have concluded. The buttons on the back of the top, the texture of the denim fabric, the tiny flowers on my shoes, and the sweet little earrings make it interesting while the monocramatic color scheme brings it all together.

  3. I love this outfit! It's really basic, yet it does make a statement. I'm really into anything striped lately, and that top is really adorable, especially with the buttons in the back.

  4. This is a really nice casual outfit and it's adorable. I especially like how nicely the shoes set it off. I know what you mean about not being sure about an outfit once you leave the house but, compliments always make you feel better about it!
